As part of the interest in practical aspects and academic training for students, on Sunday, May 13, 2026, a delegation of students from the College of Political Sciences, under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Abdul Jumaa Abdulrahman, Head of the Department of Political Systems and Public Policy, conducted a visit to the Council of Ministers – Media and Information Office.At the beginning of the visit, the university delegation was welcomed by Dr. Jotyar Adel, Head of the Media and Information Office, who provided an overview of the importance, work, and activities of the office. He also explained the connection between the Media and Information Office and the field of Political Science, as well as the role and activities of the office in providing accurate and reliable information to public opinion and confronting rumors. This contributes to strengthening communication and clarifying work mechanisms in order to bring citizens and government institutions closer together through transparency in delivering information.

Afterwards, the staff of the office gave a detailed explanation of the office’s work and its coordination with the government.

At the end of the visit, an important open discussion and dialogue took place between the officials of the office and the students.
