On April 26, 2026, first-year students from the Department of Political Systems and Public Policy, under the supervision of Dr. Abdal and Asses. Annette, participated in a scientific field trip to the Independent Board of Human Rights in Duhok. During the visit, the director of the board, Mr. Dalir, provided a comprehensive explanation to the students regarding several topics, including: • The concepts of rights and the principles of law. • The evolution of human rights within Kurdish society. Furthermore, he shared vital information specifically for students of Political Systems and Public Policy concerning the interrelationship between rights and politics and how they influence one another. This experience served as a significant motivation for the students to dedicate more attention to reading and researching in the field of human rights.
