Professional Experience
- First Phase (1980–1988)
- Worked at the Soil and Water Conservation Station (Zawita) – Ministry of Irrigation.
- Participated in agricultural research and applications alongside Bulgarian and Indian experts.
- Transition to Meteorology (1988–2000)
- Joined the Ministry of Transport – Directorate of Meteorology.
- Completed a 3-month training in Baghdad; subsequently worked as a weather observer in Zakho, then became the Manager of the Duhok station.
- Established the meteorological station in Duhok and managed it officially.
- FAO (2000–2004)
- Agrometeorology Officer in Duhok Governorate.
- Accomplished the installation of approximately 38 meteorological stations (classic, computerized, and wireless).
- Led workshops and training courses in the field of agricultural extension.
- Worked as Agro- meteorology assistant in FAO, Duhok, Kurdistan, Iraq.2000-2003
Scientific and Research Contributions
- Participating in many scientific committees to discuss M. Sc. and Ph. D. theses.
- Actively participated in scientific conferences in Duhok, Erbil, and Sulaymaniyah.
- Conducted research in the fields of soil science and agrometeorology.
- Head of the Soil and Water Sciences department in (2004-2005).
- Training course in (2005-2006).
